About the Digital Support Officer Role

Are you proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional digital service? In this part-time contractor position, you’ll manage customer engagement, schedule social posts, and facilitate seamless communication for a collection of brands we treat as family. You’ll do more than schedule posts and clear inboxes, you’ll help us nurture every relationship with style and care.

Your Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations (All Brands)

  • Monitor and respond to all Facebook and Instagram inbox messages and comments for 5+ brands, using scripts to match each brand’s tone.

  • Ensure all inquiries are responded to and cleared daily, addressing product questions and complaints and escalating when needed.

  • Actively monitor accounts between 8AM–6PM Jamaica time, with spot checks at midday and end of day (Monday–Friday) and once daily on weekends.

Brand Management & Scheduling

  • Update and improve brand tone documents as new FAQs or trends emerge.

  • Schedule content using approved tools (Metricool, Meta Business Suite), keeping Trello and content calendars up to date.

  • Track gaps in scheduled posts and flag upcoming needs.

Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare weekly reports summarising handled inquiries, trends, escalations, and suggestions for better engagement or process improvement.

  • Attend weekly virtual team meetings (<1hr) and participate in team WhatsApp for daily comms.

  • Share reports and resources via Dropbox and Trello.

Specialised for Tier 3 Brands

  • Create and update lightweight content calendars and practical content guides using provided resources.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Experience: You’ve managed multiple social pages as a VA or contractor (not currently aligned with any digital marketing agency).

  • Communication: Your written English is excellent, and you can adapt your style for each brand’s unique voice.

  • Organisation: You meet deadlines, maintain up-to-date schedules, and deliver friendly, timely service—every day.

  • Tech Savvy: You’re comfortable using Metricool, Meta Business Suite, Trello, Dropbox, and WhatsApp.

  • Independent & Reliable: You take initiative, love a checklist, and require little hand-holding.

Role Details & Timelines

Position: Digital Support Officer (Independent Contractor)

  • Location: Remote (Jamaica - all hours in local time)

  • Hours: 10–12 hours per week (40–50 hours per month)

  • Compensation: JM $60,000 - $80,000 per month (invoiced monthly)

  • Start Date: Monday, 1st September 2025
